My name is Heidi Gast and I serve as Chief of Staff to Mesa Mayor, Keno Hawker. I received your contact information from Kendall Baxley of the Home Builders Association of Central Arizona. One of my capacities in the Mayor's Office is to help coordinate appointments to City boards and committees. We currently have two openings on Mesa's Housing Advisory Board for executive/custom home builders that I wanted you to be aware of. If you are interested in serving on this board, I strongly encourage you to apply. All applicants must live in Mesa.
Serving on Mesa's Housing Advisory Board is a terrific way to help shape policy and provide recommendations to the Mayor and Council on housing issues. The board meets at 6 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month. For more information about the board, including previous meeting agendas and minutes, click here. If you or a member of your staff are interested in applying, simply fill out the online application form which is sent directly to my attention.
Appointments are recommended by the Mayor and approved by Council. Current openings are for a two-year term of service.
